My laboratory combines experiences and knowledge accumulated over the years and across different areas of research: from endometrial cancer and epigenetics in mammary gland development to breast cancer, obesity and metabolism. Also, our laboratory nourishes from international lab members and maintains active links with mural/extramural clinical and basic collaborators. Last but not least, our vocacional spirit and enthusiasm to discover the unknown reflects in our daily endeavors and stems from multiple sources including key mentoring during our early professional years, vibrant work environments, inspirational collaborators and life challenges that can only be treasured by stepping out of our comfort zones and facing the unexpected.
